FIRSTFLEET DRIVER INFORMATION FOR LEWISBURG 122, TN - YARD HOSTLER- SMURFIT
Position: CDL A - YARD/SHAG DRIVER
JOB:

• HIGH VOLUME ON SITE YARD MOVES

PAY:

• AVERAGE WEEKLY PAY IS $1,500+ INCLUDING OVERTIME.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE ONE YEAR SEMI TRUCK AND 53FOOT TRAILER EXPERIENCE!
• MUST LIVE WITHIN 3O MILES OF THE LOCATION AT: 700 Garrett Parkway Lewisburg TN 37091

• Must be able to read, speak and write enough English to converse with the public, read signs and signals, respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
• Clean DMV/MVR record

• Current DOT Medical card

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and criminal background check

• Must be familiar with state motor vehicle laws and DOT rules and regulations

• Must be able to check truck's equipment and supplies to assure road worthiness
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities

• On-the-job success in safety, attendance & quality of work expected

• Ability to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct

Hiring Process:

• Transportation: Must have your own transportation to the location.

• Full application required (if not already filled out) with a 10-year work history.
• Background checks and drug screen required
• On-site orientations, including road test and training runs (about 3-4 days).

FirstFleet basic driver Qualifications include:
Minimum of 21 years of age
Class A CDL from your state of residence
One year verifiable experience
No DUI/DWI convictions within past 5 years
No chargeable D.O.T. reportable accidents within the past three years.
