Position Summary
This position provides the service of installing and performing all maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs all first time (start-up) installations for HVAC systems while ensuring compatibility with all other equipment to be installed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to assure the entire HVAC system runs safely and efficiently.
- Ensures accuracy and completion of all documentation including service reports and timekeeping.
- Monitor and comply with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to staff and customers within the location.
- Ensures all facilities and equipment are in excellent, and safe operating condition.
- Maintain daily correspondence with staff from all departments within the company, customers, suppliers, and Caterpillar.
Occasional/Other Responsibilities:
- Assist with performing service on other industry related systems such as generators, distribution, and switchgear. (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, and other)
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC field.
- Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License.
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred in related technical field.
- 3 years or more of experience in HVAC field.
- Universal EPA Certification.
- CDL or Chauffer's License.
