Service Administrator

OVERVIEW: The Service Administrator will be responsible for the effective performance of miscellaneous clerical duties within the service department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in opening service orders, segments, and corrections of service orders as needed
Cost and invoice service orders as necessary throughout the day
Add equipment profiles as needed for customer machines needing repair
Performs month-end processes as needed for the Service Department
Proofreads work orders for grammar and spelling as necessary
Works with Foremen to ensure work orders are processed and invoiced within 10 days of last labor
Timecard entry onto work orders as needed
Maintains department files and ensures material is properly filed within the company's computer network for multiple companies
Other duties as required by manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2-year administrative degree or 2 years related work experience
An above average computer comfort level to work with Excel, MS Outlook, and OneDrive
Strong keyboarding skills
General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
Knowledge of service process and procedures
Must have a positive mental attitude
Maintain excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Self-motivated and goal oriented
Should be personable, highly motivated, a problem solver, ethical, and able to adapt to all forces around them - customers, suppliers, coworkers, and manufacturers.
Very detail-oriented
