Earning Potential

  • $5,000 Transition Bonus - $1,500 after 1 week, $1,500 after 3 months, $2,000 after 6 months
  • Earn $100K+ total your first year!
    • First-year flatbed drivers should average $1,725 - $2,000 per week (varies based on miles and performance)
  • Increase your earning potential with our Driver Scorecard and Certified RED programs!
  • Earn $105K+ in year two and beyond!

 

Pay Features

  • Door-to-door practical miles - empty & loaded
  • $1,700 weekly guarantee. If your miles are short (delays, breakdowns, etc.), you?ll still earn the guaranteed amount.
  • Paid Orientation at Nussbaum Headquarters - $200/day
  • Activity Pay for the WORK you do, not just the miles you run:
    • $30 for pickups & deliveries
    • $30 for stop-offs (any customer location in-between pickup and final delivery)
    • $70 for initial tarping; $35 for each re-tarping
    • $20/hr detention pay (starts after 1 hour)
    • Breakdown & layover pay
  • Oversize Pay is ~$3,600/year! (based on avg. loads per flatbed driver). There are three tiers of oversize pay:
    • Tier 1 - less than 10' wide = +$0.10/mile and $50 flat, per load
    • Tier 2 - 10' - 12' wide = +$0.15/mile and $75 flat, per load
    • Tier 3 - >12' wide = +$0.20/mile and $100 flat, per load

 

Quarterly Profit Sharing

Share immediately in Nussbaum's financial success! Each quarter, you?ll receive a bonus payment based upon Nussbaum?s profitability in the previous quarter.

 

Early Exit Option

We believe in the jobs we offer, and we're confident you'll find a home here. But, if you decide in the first 90 days that Nussbaum isn't the right fit, we'll help you transition out with a $2,000 payout. No gimmicks or strings attached. Must haul for 30 days and separate before 90 days.

Driver Requirements

  • Valid CDL A
  • Minimum age of 21
  • 6 months of recent experience OR complete our refresher program OR full training program
  • No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
  • Meet all other Nussbaum requirements
