Duties/ Responsibilities:
- As our Floater, you will cover pump, roll-off, trailer delivery, and/or P&D routes as needed when other drivers are absent. Ensure units returned to the yard are in good working condition, including brand stickers, cleaned, and all repairs completed.
- Facilitate last-minute deliveries, pick-ups, and services, and some after-hours emergent deliveries and services may be required.
- Meet all safety standards by abiding by all transportation laws, company policies, and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Oversee special event deliveries and pickups.
- Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair units and facilities.
- Ensure the yard and facility are clean (no rivets, trash, etc.), organized, and secured before leaving.
- Empty holding tanks, including cleaning and disinfecting areas affected by sewer or septic.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Clean driving record
- 3 years of driving experience
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to drive safely.
- Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ValidLicense and 3-year clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years old
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to load and unload units with and without dollies in various types of weather.
- Able to handle strong odors.
- Must be able to drive truck.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather.
