Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid CDL A
- Minimum of 6 months recent OTR/regional experience
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Safe driving record (no serious traffic violations or patterns of irresponsible driving) for the last 3 years

In 1974, when Jerry and Rich Schugel started J&R Schugel Trucking with their father Harold, they had 15 trucks, 20 trailers, and an idea. That idea was to provide their customers with quality service at a good price. The company experienced great success and growth throughout its control, boasting 350 power units and 550 refrigerated trailers in 1998. In 2005, Jerry and Rich passed the family legacy on to their respective sons Rick and Brad, who maintained the same business practice concepts while growing the fleet to over 600 tractors and 1,000 trailers. In 2014, J&R Schugel celebrated 40 years as a leader in the transportation industry. This was also the year that J&R became 100% employee-owned! J&R has seen plenty of change over the years, but our dedication to drivers and employees remains the same.
