Koch Trucking is now hiring to fill truck driver job openings for Over the Road drivers.

Because Koch has different types of opportunities for drivers living all across the country in different departments or divisions, we might have your needs covered. Depending on where you live, we may be able to offer you local delivery, regional, over-the-road, dedicated teams, dry vans or flatbeds that allow you to run where you like!

Our fleet dispatch system and Qualcomm communications allows your fleet manager to understand your needs to get the most miles while still providing you good home time. We offer weekly settlement and direct deposit for your payroll needs.

Koch leads the industry in providing state-of-the art equipment to the best drivers driving today. Our fleet consists of late model APU equipped conventional tractors with air ride cabs, air ride suspensions, and 450 hp Cummins engines. We have both 53’ air ride dry vans and flat beds.

Over the Road
We have over the road drivers who live in 23 states. From Florida to California and from Minnesota to Texas. While our main concentrations of customers are in the mid-west, we have opportunities in many other areas to route you home on a frequent basis.

Independent Contractors & Company Drivers
Independent Contractors - Includes Owner/Operators and Lease Purchase Operators.

Koch Companies is interested in both Owner/Operators who already lease or own their own truck or those wishing to lease their own truck. Both Owner Operators and Lease Purchase drivers have found an opportunity to be successful with us. Especially those who are looking for a company to provide their first-time business owner experience. Both programs have been a great success.

O/O Tractor Qualifications:

• 7 years / 700,000 miles or newer at time of lease
• Max weight of 18,500
• Must be capable of scaling 46,350 lbs
• Wheel base may nor exceed 265"
• 5th wheel height not to exceed 46"

O/O Compensation:

• .91cpm loaded or empty
• 100% of fuel surcharge paid to contractor
• Base plates paid after 1 year of continuous service
• Tolls, scales, permits, and lumpers paid
• Stop pay $50
• Layover pay $50
• $150 for loads into and out of New York City and the Burroughs
• Weekly settlements

Basic Driver Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience over-the-road
• Must have driven over-the-road 8 months within the last 12 months
• No more than three moving violations within the last three years
• A minimum of 23 years of age
• Haz-Mat endorsement is required  within 60 days of sign-on
• No major chargeable accidents within the last 36 months and no more than three chargeable minor accidents in the last three years or 2 in the past 12 months
• No DWI’s or DUI’s within the last five years
• No recent felony convictions (10 years) and then only based on review
