Reefer Technician

 

C&S Wholesale Grocers is accepting applications for fill a reefer mechanic job opening in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

C&S Wholesale Grocers is the second-largest food wholesaler and the twelfth-largest privately held company in the United States. We distribute food to supermarkets, retail stores, and military bases across the country. Currently, we serve over 5,000 stores from over 70 locations in 12 states. As a Reefer Mechanic, you are part of the Maintenance team that maintains the trailers in working order to assist with on-time deliveries.

Qualified candidates must have:

• Must be CFC Certified, must have attended either Thermo King or Carrier factory school, must also be certified/qualified in Air brake systems, Tires, Wheel end repair, Fall protection, Electrical repair, Auto slack adjusters, Air Chambers, should also be ASE certified in Heavy Truck for  Brakes, Diesel Engines, Electrical, Steering & Suspension
• 1-3 years of applicable experience
• Ability to accommodate flexible schedule covering multiple shifts

Starting pay at $20.00+ per hour and some Relocation Assistance available.
