Deffenbaugh Industries, Inc. is now hiring to fill openings for Residential Trash Truck Driver jobs in Kansas City, Kansas. Deffenbaugh Industries offers residential and commercial waste disposal services. Our residential trash removal activities operate Monday through Friday, with the exception of holiday weeks.

Residential Trash Truck Driver Job Description:
Drives and picks up residential trash. The Driver will drive a packer truck equipped with hydraulic lifting device to collect garbage and recyclable materials. The person will have 1 helper on the truck with them while picking up trash from 400-700 houses per day.

Candidate Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL
• 1 year driving experience in last 2 years with CMV greater than 26,001 pounds and a manual transmission with airbrakes
• The ability to get in and out of the truck to throw trash 400+ times per day
• All applicants must be 21 and older
• All Driver applicants must complete application with accurate 10 year history and present a CDL with a 2nd form of ID (birth certificate, social security card, passport etc)
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to read and write in English

All candidates are subject to Human Performance Exam, Physical, background checks and drug testing.
