We’re Looking for Class A CDL Team Drivers with Hazmat Endorsement

SLT Express, Inc., a division of The Express Way Group, the largest specialized trucking company in the Western United States, is looking for experienced team drivers who have a Class A CDL (commercial driver license) with hazardous material endorsements.  The drivers will haul hazardous waste, explosives, ammunition, as well as general commodities.  They will be required to drive for 3 weeks, and they will be compensated 1 off day for every week they are on the road.  They will cover most of the United States.

SLT has an immediate need for an experienced CDL A team to run ammunition, explosives, and hazardous materials in and out of Canada.  Drivers must have at least two years of experience and be permitted to travel to Canada.  Pay is negotiable based on actual experience and qualifications.

OTR Secure Freight Teams with Hazmat

Express Way Group provides the following:

• A sign on bonus of $1000 for each driver
• Drivers split up to $1.10 per mile for Department of Defense loads. They split $.50 for all other freight. Owner Operators average $1.60/mile
• Average pay is $1100/wk per driver.  Drivers are guaranteed a minimum of $750/wk during first 90 days
• A medical dental and vision insurance plan through AETNA available to drivers after 90 days

Drivers will be required to obtain a security clearance.  Flatbed & van experience is a plus.  Must pass background check.

Our very specialized Heavy Haul Division can handle loads up to 120,000 lbs. Our management team has specialized in the operation of RGN's since 1961. The Heavy Haul Division transports loads of extraordinary weight and dimensions all over the country thanks to the industry's most professional drivers and diverse equipment types such as step-decks, expendables, removable goosenecks, and various types of multi-axle trailers.
