CLASS A CDL DRIVERS
Southwest Traders Inc. is accepting applications for Class A Drivers in the following locations:
- Temecula, CA
- Stockton, CA
- Fresno, CA
- Phoenix, AZ
- Dallas, TX
- Houston, TX
- Denver, CO
Responsibilities:
- Driver will be responsible for the delivery of frozen, chilled and dry food products to customer locations within assigned route
- Stock product on customers shelves when applicable; collect monies from customers and record transactions
- Perform Pre & Post trip inspections and maintain proper cold environment within delivery trailer
- Resolve service complaints when able, issue credit memos for refused product, return product to warehouse and maintain effective communication with sales department
- Organize end of day paper work for office administration
Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have at least 2 years driving experience (Preferably doing local route driving with food delivery experience)
- Must have current Class A drivers license, copy of medical card and DMV printout
- Must possess basic math skills, the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, local area maps, driver handbook, invoices and credit memos
- Must be able to perform Pre/Post trip inspections and pass a pre-employment driving test
- Must be self motivated, have strong customer service skills, able to lift up to 80 lbs. and know how to use a pallet jack and 2 wheel cart
