Home Time: Home Multiple Nights per Week

CDL-A Dedicated Drivers needed in your area. Drivers must have transportation to and from work, as the tractor must stay at the terminal. Drivers will be home multiple nights per week. Deliveries will be in and around the Redlands area, but could be farther.

Compensation

Hourly Pay: You will be paid at a rate of $18.00 per hour as Hourly Base Pay for all time spent working. Time spent working includes time spent performing activities that should be logged as on-duty, driving (Line 3) and on-duty, not driving (Line 4) under the federal Hours of Service (HOS) Regulations, 49 C.F.R. Part 395, as described in the Hours-of-Service Policy. This includes all non-driving related work time, such as receiving dispatches, trip planning, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fueling, waiting to load and unload, rest breaks, and completing and returning paperwork.

Production Pay: You will also have the opportunity to earn Production Pay at a flat rate of $50.00 for each
satisfactorily delivered load each week. The Production Pay is not designed to provide extra compensation for
only time spent driving or delivering any particular load. Rather, it is an additional incentive for the satisfactory
delivery of the load, including all of the on-duty, non-driving tasks required to complete a satisfactory delivery.
These tasks include, but are not limited to, receiving dispatches, trip planning, pre-trip and post-trip inspections,
fueling, waiting to load and unload, rest breaks, and completing and returning paperwork.

Conditional Minimum Pay: In addition to Hourly Base Pay and Production Pay, you may also qualify for
Conditional Minimum Pay if certain conditions are met. Conditional Minimum Pay will be paid at the difference
between $1,500 and the combination of your Hourly Base Pay, Production Pay (if any), Holiday Pay (if any),
and Paid Sick Leave pay (if any) for the pay period. For example, if the combination of a drivers Hourly Base
Pay and Production Pay for a pay period totals $1,000, and the driver fulfills the conditions described below,
the driver will be paid $500 in Conditional Minimum Pay in addition to the $1,000 in Hourly Base Pay and
Production Pay.

Conditions Required to Qualify for Conditional Minimum Pay: To qualify for Conditional Minimum Pay for
any workweek, you must have:
  • Already completed orientation (i.e., Conditional Minimum Pay is not available during orientation);
  • Reported from your reset on time for the workweek;
  • Worked all scheduled shifts during the workweek;*
  • Not refuse any dispatches during the workweek if you are qualified to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle pursuant to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including the federal HOS Regulations;
  • Be on-time to all pick-ups and deliveries during the workweek;
  • Complete and submit all paperwork for the workweek to the Company by 2100 PST each Saturday;and
  • Work your last scheduled shift prior to and your first scheduled shift after any paid holiday during workweeks with holidays that qualify for Holiday Pay.
*If you qualify for and take Paid Sick Leave during a workweek, you may still qualify for Conditional Minimum
Pay for the workweek, but your Paid Sick Leave pay will be taken into account with your weeks earnings before
calculating any Conditional Minimum Pay for which you qualify.

Additional Rest Break Pay
In addition to the Hourly Base Pay, the Company will also pay you Additional Rest Break Pay. You will earn Additional Rest Break Pay for 10-minute Rest Breaks as set forth in the following table:

Your Additional Rest Break Pay will be paid at an hourly rate of $10.00 per hour. You will receive the Additional Rest Break Pay even if you do not take any actual Rest Breaks.

Benefits
Covenant offers a comprehensive benefits program. On the 1st day of the month following 60 days of active service, you may elect to participate in the following employee benefit plans: Medical, Dental, Vision, Optional Life, Optional STD/LTD, and Flexible Spending Accounts. Following 180 days of active service, you may elect to participate in the companys 401(k) plan. If you miss the deadline, you will not be able to elect benefits until open enrollment of each year.

Vacation/Paid Sick Leave
After 90 days of service, you will be granted 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave. Additionally, upon your first anniversary, you will be eligible for 40 hours of vacation. Upon your second anniversary, you will be eligible for 80 hours of vacation. Upon your fifth anniversary, you will be eligible for 120 hours of vacation. No earned vacation will accrue during your first year of work. Both vacation and paid sick leave will be paid at $18.00 per hour.
